I’m absolutely foundered!
If you’ve grown up in the countryside, you’ll know exactly what this means!
A much-loved rural expression, Foundered means being absolutely freezing — the kind of cold that has you reaching for another jumper, turning up the heating or putting the kettle on!
“Close that door, I’m foundered!”
Whether you’ve been out working in the fields, standing on the sidelines at a football match or simply trying to survive a chilly morning, we’ve all been foundered at one time or another!
Full of local humour and rural character, our Foundered mug is the perfect gift for anyone who loves a good old-fashioned saying — especially someone who’s always complaining about the cold!
Each mug comes with its own specially designed meaning card, explaining the saying and celebrating the colourful expressions that make rural life so unique.
This mug does more than hold your tea or coffee.
Every purchase helps fund the Rural Action Awards, supporting volunteer-led projects that brighten rural communities across Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland.
A wee mug with a big heart.
