Rural organisations interested in developing new ideas, strengthening their sustainability and exploring the potential of social enterprise have just a few days left to express an interest in Cohort 2 of the RiSE (Rural Innovation & Social Enterprise) Project.
RiSE is open to rural organisations that are already engaged in social enterprise or would like to explore how social enterprise could support their future development.
Through RiSE, participating organisations will have opportunities to:
- Build connections with other rural organisations on a cross-border and cross-community basis
- Share knowledge and learn from others
- Access training and support
- Explore opportunities to maximise income generation
- Strengthen organisational sustainability
- Increase the impact of services within their communities
Cohort 1 is already progressing through the programme, taking part in leadership development, residential learning, networking and study visits to see successful social enterprises in action.
If your organisation has ideas it would like to explore, or is considering how social enterprise could create new opportunities for the future, now is the time to take the first step.
Expressions of Interest close on Friday 9th October 2026.
